Quick roadtrip to Fruita before winter hit. Rallied a 20 mile run in prep for @mexicobyutmb and hit the gels and drink as hard as ever. Next day got a 45 mile ride in w/ JJ. In classic form we forgot the lid camel back bladder & didn't have a bike bottle. So I loaded up with three flasks and a runnin vest and three Polar seltzers. Glad looking like a dork in most forms of exercise never changes

@ultratrailwhistler was a good one. Accomplished my two goals: qualifying for OCC next summer and spending time with family here in Whistler. Had a fun shake-out ride with @aven.elsberg on Friday, felt good throughout the 50k, and had a bomb pizza dinner Saturday night with good company. Successful weekend imo 🙂

One week out from a great party! Amazing friends and family made our belated wedding bash incredible. Love you all 💙

@mountmarathonrace never fails to put on a great event. July 4 in Seward was a perfect day for mega effort up the mountain. I pushed myself and I'm grateful for all the support before, during, and after the race. Hard to explain how awesome the AK endurance community is!! ❤️ I'm excited to finally beat my rookie pace from 2016. Since 2016 my times haven't improved- and the efforts have even felt way harder than this year. Weird how when it clicks it clicks- 2016 & 2024 are the two races I have been least sore from and ran my fastest time. Goes to show that good prep pays off. Been grinding out a lot of solo workouts before and after work with some exciting goals on my mind. Following a more structured strength plan from @endurancetrainingstrategies has certainly helped in regards to performance and injury prevention/durability. Likely my best @cirqueseries battle to date. The two Kenyans got away early in the race and were super strong on the steep service road heading up the resort. 15 minutes into it 3rd place looked like my best result for the day, but once we hit the technical terrain the race changed. Philemon and I swapped positions probably six times in a 30 minute stretch along the ridge. Never could regain contact with Patrick, he was a monster. Mega PR in the last downhill mile to lock in 2nd place- excited to have healthy legs and test where my fitness is at. Thanks for the pics from: @connor.nash_ @matoutdor

Awesome weekend in windy Wyoming. Competed in the @bighorntrailrun 50k on Saturday. Sunday @jjyeaton towed me around an incredible gravel loop up through Crazy Women Canyon. While I suffered along Jess felt at home throughout. I was excited to get a 50k in me now. I imagine the effort will toughen up my legs for the rest of summer while giving me time to make adjustments before heading to France in August. Fun to have a new athletic goal and challenge. Grateful to have @skysrootednutrition and @endurancetrainingstrategies advising me on my race day fueling and strength plans this summer. Race day pics from @mile90photo

Is shoulder season possibly the best season?? So stoked to have the trails drying, crust crusty, dirt roads creamy smooth (mostly), and so far the bod is handling it 🤞 Just gotta keep up with the strength plans from @endurancetrainingstrategies / @jjyeaton so I don't fall apart 💪

Raced my first World Cup here in 2012 as a MSU Bobcat! This time with @teambirkie Cool to meet a bunch of new rippin Americans and reconnect with friends I now rarely see. Thanks to everyone who came to cheer and all those who have made ski racing possible. Only one crash- in college that would have been a $10 deposit into the season ending party fun. Onto MINNEAPOLIS World Cup!!
